Change your graphics card brand without leftovers. Before the swap Swap prepares everything; after it, Swap opens by itself, installs a compatible driver, checks that Direct3D 12, Vulkan and OpenCL see it and removes what the old card left behind, with backup and undo.

BUILT FOR THE DRIVER CHANGE

Fully automatic card change
Press I'm changing my card, then Shut down. After the swap Swap opens by itself without a UAC prompt, waits for the network or Windows' own driver install, installs and verifies the driver, removes the old brand and hands you a validation report. Progress shows every step in percent.
NEW IN 1.002 /
Deep cleanup with undo
Devices, packages, services, folders, Programs entries in any language, files in System32, Vulkan/OpenCL registrations and protected Windows entries of the disconnected brand, by evidence. Backed up first; undo restores it, and you free the backups once all works.
03 /
Games and diagnostics
What Direct3D 12, Vulkan and OpenCL actually see, driver health, PCIe lanes, highest refresh rate in one click, recent incidents and a before/after comparison. Independent backups with integrity checks.
BEFORE YOU START
System requirements.
No account, subscription, ads or project telemetry. Six interface languages follow your PC.
Applicable Display drivers from your configured Windows Update service, or the one Windows already installed. It may be older than the manufacturer's latest. The manufacturer's control panel (AMD Software, NVIDIA App) stays optional and Swap links to it.
Do I need to reboot?
Not to open Swap or run diagnostics. For a card change, Swap shuts down fully so you can unplug the PC and reopens by itself after sign-in. If a driver needs a restart, Swap continues afterwards. Remote sessions and pending servicing restarts block driver changes.
Which PCs are supported?
Windows 10/11 x64 with PowerShell 5.1, Windows Update and at least 4 GB free plus the driver. Validated on a real GTX 1060 to RX 7600 change and in isolated Windows guests; other combinations (AMD to NVIDIA, Intel Arc, laptops) are welcome as hardware reports.
Can I improve or redistribute it?
Yes, under GPL-3.0-or-later, including commercial reuse. Distributed modifications must retain required notices and corresponding source. Forks must not impersonate KraicDev or claim to be official releases.
Does it replace Display Driver Uninstaller?
For a brand change, yes, without Safe Mode: Swap runs after the old card is removed, decides with hardware evidence, keeps chipset, network and PhysX, backs everything up and can undo. On identical copies with the official AMD driver it left less behind than DDU 18.1.5.3 (comparison). DDU is an independent project, not included.
